Purling Pirate from Purling Ps was holding a little contest. When would she finish her Shipwreck ? Many brave souls ventured forth with their prognostications, many brave souls were sadly incorrect. Myself included - I think I only gave her about 10 minutes or so.
In its own cruel fashion LIFE saw someone about to do something marvelous and BLAM! Plans ruined and the Shipwreck is on hold. I have it straight from Purling Pirate that it was just a mild case of LIFE and everyone is safe and sound, but. just to add insult to injury, she may be running out of yarn for the Shipwreck!!! What does this fearless soul do when facing such daunting odds?
She draws !*!4!*! lucky winners for prizes. That, my little Kittenettes and Kittenettedudes, is how to treat LIFE - with a good dose of humor, generosity and kindness of spirit.

Congrats once again for another win. I'm going to try to use the fiber to make a felted necklace. Who knows? I usually don't even enter when the prize is fiber (not yarn) since I know I'll never learn to spin, but this time I decided I'd give it a try and see whether I could make a nice girly-colored necklace.
Life cheats, but there are ways to get around that. Good cheer is always a fine plan.
