What Does A Naked Kitty Read And Other Items Of Dubious Import

If I'm not mistaken, this is Blip, one of the absolutely gorgeous "hairless" kittens currently running around Borderlands Books. You can see her current reading list: Naked Lunch, Hairy... ooops, Harry Potter, and Cat's Cradle.

The weather was too foul for waterfowl pics during my visit to the pond. It was also to wet for the fishies.

So I stayed in a lot and got this Fair Isle sampler hat made. Just a bunch of scraps and leftovers, I think all wool.

I'd gotten this far on the sweater before I left, and was sincerely sick of the repetitious pattern and drab color. A week away and I once again love the yarn, and am ready to start on the sleeves, though I haven't decided yet how I want them.

I'd started this blanket from some vividly colored Dawn Sayelle just to break the beige cycle, but it also got boring quickly, being all stockinette. I'm torn between trying to make this more interesting or just frogging and donating. Unfortunately, my "Your started it, now you have to finish it" demon is telling me to just keep going as is.

Oh, I'm really glad I don't have THAT particular demon!

Everything is looking so good! I think this is the first time I've seen a plethora of knitting content on your blog....I'm impressed with all the knitting. And I love that cat.

I don't remember that book from Kurt Vonnegut, I'll have to check it out as I'm always looking for something new and different. Blip looks quite comfy sitting there, have you met her?

The sweater is coming along nicely, BTW, I just love all the detail. I'm curious to see what you decide to do with the sleeves. :-)
